Airborne data acquisition in Norway
Aerial images and LiDAR data for norwegian communities
During the last years, BSF Swissphoto has been mandated by the Norwegian surveying authority Statens Kartverk to perform LIDAR and digital image acquisition flights. Accurate high resolution digital elevation models and orthophotos would be derived from those data. Hence, in 2012-2013 a total area of approximately 1’800 km2 for LiDAR data and 2’900 km2 for image acquisition has been flown.
Furthermore BSF Swissphoto has been mandated to acquire aerial images (GSD 25 cm) in Saltfjellet and Hedmark for the production of a digital orthophoto for an area of about 38’200 km2.
