BSF Swissphoto has been very successful in acquiring Finnish projects over the last 10 years. In 2014 and 2015, BSF Swissphoto, together with a partner, was able to carry out large-scale Lidar data acquisition over approximately 45'720 km² for the Finnish land surveying office Maanmittauslaitos (MML). BSF Swissphoto was again commissioned with Lidar flights in 2018 and scanned almost 41'000 km² at 1 point/m² in 12 sub-areas in southern to central Finland by the end of 2019. This required ~250 flying hours.
Since 2019, BSF Swissphoto is yearly collecting Lidar data for MML for an area size of approx. 17'000 km² with a point density of 5 points/m² within 100 flying hours.
